<lj:music>Jack Johnson - Smile in a wave</lj:music>

Today i went to HMV with eric before his hockey practice. As i was there my eyes came accross a singer named Jack Johnson, it caught my eye because i remeber someone telling me to check him out. So i was curious and so i did. I personly think he has talent. I also recomend for you guys to check him out.
Down below is some info on him.
Hope you enjoy!
p.s let me hear your comments! and i recomend all his songs to listen to. The song "smile in a wave" is unique i like it.

Surfers aren't usually known for their taste in music, but they may have redeemed themselves by giving us Jack Johnson. Before releasing his first album, the former pro surfer made the groundbreaking surf movies Thicker Than Water and The September Sessions and started writing music. The films won awards, but he was stuck strumming his mellow blues in coffeeshops until his demo caught the attention of pals like Ben Harper and G. Love. That did the trick. Johnson released Brushfire Fairytales (Enjoy), a charming collection of folksy jams fused with lazy hip-hop phrasing and simple hooks, and thus blossomed his laid-back pop-star life: a tour with Harper, offers from major record labels (he rejected them), a pesky fan on the Internet impersonating him and taping Last Call With Carson Daly (alongside Kid Rock and 20 strippers). But this guy isn't pining to appear on Daly's other celebrity funnel, TRL. "I know what it is, the Total Request Live," the 26 year old says. "But, honestly, I don't really see myself being on there." We'll see.... In a time when teen boys are going bananas for grungey dullards like Hoobastank and P.O.D., it's not so hard to imagine America's little girls -- backed by MTV, of course -- getting their grubby paws on Brushfire Fairytales and making a superstar out of this multi-talented everyman.

The month of August

Well everyone, since i haven't seen you guys in such a long time, i thought maybe i should talk about what i've been up to these past 2 months.

I'll start of by the first month, July. It was a back to school month for me. I had summer school for math for a crazy hole long month. It wasn't that bad, I actually enjoyed to be there. Only because i was in a class room with Luigi and Chris. It was a lot of fun doing math with those two kids, it was like back in grade 6 again. So i give my thanks to those too for a fun, enjoyable math class. Also i can't forget stephanie, she also made it a fun last 2 weeks of summer school. Even thou she wasn't in my class. She still made my breaks fun.

.... But then that month was over and August came along and my fun was still there, but i missed out on a lot of things with all my friends *a tear drops from the left eye* lol. The month of august became a home cleaning lady, a chef, and a painter all at once.

How? you ask, well the month of august was a really calm month for me. This month i had plans to paint a mural of two tigers on my sisters bedroom wall. I was given till the end of the month to finish it, because it was a really big project on my hands. I'm half way done. Started the second tiger...so i should be done on time. And once that is done. I'm gonna finish decorating my sisters room on the long weekend.
Since i was home alot painting and my mom was busy working. Cooking and cleaning was my next thing on the list.
Like i don't mind the hole cooking part, because i plan to get into cheffing. But the hole cleaning part was a drag.Well enough about choirs.

This month i also did alot of handing out resumes to stores around woodbridge. I've gotten interviews but no calls. Except for two. I don't plan on talking about those to job interviews, because every time i talk about them i don't get calls back. So i consider it a form of back luck for me. Strange but true. lol

If you where wondering were is eric though out this month. Well his been working like a machine at wonderland. I don't see him much, as much as you guys think. I usually see him once, To two times a week. So yeah his been a busy working man.

Shout out to my dear eric.. Thanks for being there for me, you've done so much.love you always!!!!

Umm i guess thats it for this month. Didn't do much.I consider it a relaxed easy month for me. Now i'm just waiting for school to begin, because it's are last year. And i'm looking forward to seeing you guys all again!

-coluch
